So I decided to make some cookies to celebrate. Let me share my story…….
A few months back the owners next to us decided to rent their house. Bad idea! They found what seemed to be a normal couple with a child a year or so younger than Briana. Since our townhome shares a wall with them, we wanted nothing more than a quiet, happy couple. Instead we got complete opposite. I don’t know what planet they came from, but happy or quiet was not in their vocabulary. From day one they were a complete nightmare. Allow me to explain. Keep in mind we live in a private and quiet neighborhood.
Day 1: I come home from work only to find my drive way completely blocked by their car and a moving truck. When I asked for both to be moved my new neighbor flipped out and started screaming at me. “Deep breaths Kat, deep breaths” I thought to myself.
Day 35: I find their poor little child standing in front of my door, peeking through the window with no one else in sight. Then their dog that was freely roaming the neighborhood, tried to get into my house while I was getting bags of groceries out of my car.
Day 46: We hear screaming out front only to find the Neanderthal man and his woman fighting. Seriously?! Why not fight inside the house? Why fight on the front lawn for the entire neighborhood to watch? This went on for 10 minutes, at which point I found him hanging on the hood of her car as she was trying to drive off.
Day 62: I walk out onto my lawn only to step into a big pile of poop with my brand new boots. That pile of poop was left by their dog. I know it because my good neighbors saw it. My husband decided to say something to the Neanderthal man next door, but only to find himself in a screaming match.
Day 63: Kurt was fed up with the poop on our lawn so he got a sign that said “This is not your dog’s bathroom, please keep it on a leash”. As we peacefully ate dinner that night the Neanderthal man knocked on our front door to begin a fight about the sign, only to realize that his significant other has been letting the dog freely roam the neighborhood. At which point he apologetically retreated only to announce that they were moving.
Come to find out, they haven’t been paying rent on time and could barely afford to live next door, so the owners of the house were equally as happy to let them break their lease and go.
I am happy to announce that our insane neighbors finally moved out.
