I was off Monday for Columbus Day so my entire week is screwed up, not that I’m complaining. Over the weekend my eats were a lot more interesting so it’s only fair I share them with you.
Sometime after my run on saturday I had a fried egg on a whole grain toast with heirloom tomato slices and figs. It was one of those meals – “I need to eat NOW or I might die”
Briana slept over her grandma’s that night and as most parents whose children are sleeping over grandma’s house would do, we went out to dinner. I ordered a shrimp and pork picadinho. It’s been a while since I’ve had one of these. I’m not going to lie, I really enjoyed it. Of course I didn’t eat all of it and barely touched the rice. Too much food.
Sunday was a fun day. We were invited to beautiful reception hall in Brooklyn for a Bat Mitzvah where most of the afternoon was spent eating and dancing. 8 hours of eating and dancing with family and friends to be exact.
This picture is taken with my dad and sister.
And that’s my mom there in the middle.
The hostess did such a great job decorating, these were my favorite centerpieces of the night.
After tons of sushi, caviar, steak, potatoes, numerous salads and drinks came the cake.
Needless to say by Monday I wanted green smoothies and little food. Somehow I continued with more sushi. Hmmmm. I might not have sushi for a while but probably not. I’m sure it’ll make its way on my menu somehow. Can you say sushi addict?
Too lazy to cook, probably from overeating, once again I found myself eating out at Bonefish. Salmon, asparagus and a salad later my eating out was over.
Back to being good. I promise.
